How Love Story Movie handles your memories, photos, account details, and movie orders.

Last Updated: September 4, 2026

1. Scope And Contact

This Policy explains how Love Story Movie handles personal data when you visit the site, prepare a story, use an account, request a preview, purchase a movie, or contact support. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of this service, responsible for the processing described here.

For privacy questions or requests, contact support@lovestorymovie.org.

2. Information We Handle

Account Information

We process your email address, account identifier, verification records, session information, and account-security records. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive the information needed to authenticate you, such as your Google account identifier, email, name, and profile image. We do not receive your Google password.

Stories, Photos, And Movies

We process the photos and other material you submit, your story titles and text, names or dates you include, occasion, tone, final message, and the previews and movies created for you. These materials may identify people other than the account holder and may reveal private relationships or sensitive details.

Draft recovery uses browser storage for story text, preferences, and account-return information. These local records are specific to your browser and device, not a guaranteed cloud backup. Original photo selections are not a recoverable account archive, so you may need to select them again when returning to a project. Submitting material for a preview or movie involves server-side processing and the service providers needed to fulfill the request; it is not an entirely on-device process.

The order record includes approved story text and selections, media counts or processing references, account and order identifiers, language, processing status, notification email, and timestamps. An order record is not an archive of your original photo files. These records associate a movie with the correct account and let you return to it.

Payments

Our payment provider processes payment credentials. We receive information needed to confirm and administer a purchase, such as the order and transaction reference, payment status, amount, currency, and relevant billing details. We do not ask you to send full card numbers or card security codes to support.

The payment provider also handles data for its own payment-security and legal obligations, as described in its privacy notice presented in the payment flow.

Support, Technical, And Usage Information

We receive the information you include in support or rights requests. Technical records can include IP address, approximate country, browser and device information, request times, authentication events, security signals, and errors.

Where analytics is used, it processes site usage and interaction information under the choices and legal requirements described below. We do not intentionally send raw story text or selected photo files as analytics event data.

3. Why We Use Information

We use relevant information to:

  • save drafts, authenticate accounts, and prevent another person from accessing your orders;
  • prepare requested previews, create and deliver movies, and provide viewing and downloads;
  • process payments, maintain order records, and handle refunds;
  • send verification, order, and completion messages;
  • investigate quality issues, respond to support, and handle privacy or content complaints;
  • protect the Service against fraud, abuse, and security threats; and
  • meet applicable legal obligations.

Where a legal basis is required, account, preview, purchase, and delivery processing is based on performing the requested service or taking steps at your request before a contract. We rely on legal obligations for required records and disclosures, and on legitimate interests for proportionate security, fraud prevention, and service administration where those interests are not overridden by your rights. Optional activities requiring consent, including applicable analytics or marketing, rely on that consent.

Account and order messages are service communications, not permission to send unrelated marketing. You can withdraw consent to consent-based processing without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

4. Service Providers And Other Recipients

We share information only as needed for the purposes described in this Policy. Recipient categories include:

  • infrastructure, database, storage, content-delivery, and security providers, including Cloudflare;
  • account and email providers, including Google when you choose Google sign-in;
  • payment processors for payment, fraud prevention, and refunds;
  • AI generation and media-processing providers that receive relevant photos, story instructions, and related material to create or check a preview or movie;
  • analytics providers, including Google where analytics is used; and
  • technical support providers and professional advisers where necessary.

Providers acting on our behalf are subject to appropriate processing terms and access restrictions. A provider that separately processes information for its own legal or account purposes is responsible for that processing under its own notice.

We may disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect people, or establish or defend legal claims. Relevant records may be transferred in a lawful business reorganization with appropriate notice and safeguards; this does not permit unrelated reuse of private stories.

5. Private Content, AI Training, And Sharing

We do not use your personal photos or story to train AI models, and we do not authorize our generation providers to use that material for unrelated model training. Processing it to create your requested preview or movie is different from training a model for other users.

We do not sell your personal story or photos or share them for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not publish your private project, add it to a public gallery, or use it in marketing without your separate permission.

Private does not mean that authorized personnel or providers never process content. Limited access may be necessary for generation, quality checks, technical support, safety, or legal obligations.

An order-page link is not a public sharing link: access requires the order owner's account. If you give someone a downloaded copy, their handling or further sharing of it is outside the controls of your account.

Include other people's photos and information only when you have an appropriate right or permission. Avoid unnecessary sensitive information. If a project includes you without permission, contact us with enough information to locate it.

6. Cookies, Browser Storage, And Choices

Essential cookies and browser storage support authentication, security, draft recovery, language preferences, and order continuity. Blocking them may prevent those functions. Browser settings can remove local site data, but doing so may make an unfinished story unrecoverable.

Where consent is required for optional analytics or other non-essential tracking, we obtain it before that processing and provide a way to change or withdraw it. Where applicable law requires recognition of a browser opt-out preference signal, we honor that signal. You can also contact us about your privacy choices.

Refusing optional analytics or marketing does not prevent you from purchasing a movie. A sign-in or payment action does not constitute consent to unrelated tracking or marketing.

7. Retention And Deletion

We keep personal data for no longer than needed for its purpose, subject to applicable legal obligations. We determine retention by the type of record and the following criteria:

  • Original photos: we do not retain original photo files as stored project materials or an account archive. They are used only for the requested processing. Temporary working copies, including those handled by providers on our behalf, are cleared when the relevant processing finishes, is cancelled, or is abandoned after failure. We do not keep them for later reuse or corrections; you may need to provide them again. This does not delete originals from your own device.
  • Completed movies: hosted movies are kept for 30 days after delivery, starting when the completed movie becomes available in your account. They are then removed from hosted storage, and viewing and download links stop working. Earlier deletion may be requested. Download your own copy during that period. A movie can contain imagery derived from your original photos even though the original files are not retained.
  • Story drafts and order content: the period needed to restore an unfinished project, fulfill the order, provide the movie's access period, and resolve related support or disputes. We minimize or delete content when those purposes end; retaining a payment record does not require retaining the underlying story or movie.
  • Delivery records: the information needed to establish when and what was delivered and resolve associated issues, separate from the hosted movie itself.
  • Account records: the duration of the account and the limited period needed to handle closure, outstanding orders, and security issues.
  • Payment and transaction records: applicable accounting, tax, dispute, and other legal recordkeeping obligations.
  • Support and security records: the period proportionate to resolving the request, investigating an incident, and preventing abuse.

The 30-day movie period is not a promise of permanent hosting or a limit on applicable consumer rights. It does not override a valid request for earlier deletion. Keep your own copy of a completed movie.

Clearing browser data, leaving the page, or signing out does not delete a saved server-side project or order. Contact us to request deletion of an account or project. We explain any information we must retain and the reason. Deletion may prevent completion of a project or later access to a movie; outstanding payment, delivery, and consumer rights are handled separately.

Where retention is required by law or necessary for a specific legal claim, we limit the information and its use to that purpose rather than routinely extending content retention. We do not maintain an archival backup of original photos or a recoverable hosted movie beyond the stated period. Non-media records retained for legal obligations or in restricted backups are not used to restore an expired movie or for unrelated purposes.

8. Security And International Processing

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures, including account access controls and access limits for authorized personnel and providers. No system can guarantee absolute security. Protect your email account, sign-in session, and downloaded files.

Our providers may process information outside the country where you live. Where applicable law requires a lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards, we use the required arrangements, such as an applicable adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about safeguards applicable to your data. We do not promise that processing takes place only in your country.

9. Your Rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; and complain to a competent data-protection authority. You may also ask us to review an account restriction that you believe is wrong. Exercising applicable rights does not result in unlawful discrimination.

Send requests to support@lovestorymovie.org with the subject “Privacy Request.” Identify the account and request without sending a password, sign-in code, or unnecessary identity documents. We may verify identity proportionately to protect your information. Where an authorized representative makes a request, we may verify their authority.

We respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any permitted extension or exception. If we cannot fulfill a request, we explain the reason and applicable ways to challenge the decision.

10. Children And Policy Changes

The Service is not directed to children under 13. You must have the legal capacity required to use and purchase the Service. If you include a child's photo or story in a family keepsake, obtain appropriate permission, including a parent or guardian's permission where required. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied information inappropriately.

We update this Policy when relevant practices change. Material changes receive appropriate notice, and new consent is obtained where required. A policy update does not itself authorize unrelated training, advertising, or other new uses of previously submitted private material.

See our Contact page and Terms of Service for further information.
